Building In Piedmont
At the City of Piedmont, we aim to walk you through each step of building in our community. It is our duty to ensure that all new construction projects adhere to the applicable International Codes, City of Piedmont Ordinances, Zoning Ordinance, and Subdivision Regulations.
In Piedmont, we require most construction projects to require a Piedmont Contractor's License and the following diagram will help provide key steps required for your project.
For any questions, please feel free to contact the Community Development Department at (405) 373-2621.
Zoning
If building a new building, it is important to verify the zoning district with the city before continuing to the next step. To inquire about the current zoning of your property, please contact the Community Development Department at (405) 373-2621.
To complete the Rezoning process, please follow this link! Our staff will walk you through this process.
If you are unsure on the meaning behind your Zoning District, please refer to our Zoning Ordinance book.
