The Community Development Department manages two types of meetings.
The Planning Division is responsible for assisting the City Council with planning for Piedmont's future development and reviewing proposed development for compliance with the City's adopted policies and ordinances.
The Board of Adjustment has the power and duty to review and vote on interpretation, exceptions, variances, or appeals of any rulings within Community Development. The BOA does not meet on a regular basis, but as needed.
