After several public meetings a long-term City trails plan was created.
Some of the main goals were to...
-increase recreational opportunities
-integrate trails into neighborhoods
-have a continuous trail within the City
-create safe routes downtown and to the schools
-create awareness and promote benefits of the trails
-protect natural resources
