Message From the Fire Chief
Welcome to the Piedmont Fire Department. We are proud to serve the citizens of Piedmont, a population of 7,400, and serve an area of approximately 66 square miles (46 square miles within our city limits and 20 square miles of un-incorporated area). Piedmont is located approximately 20 miles northwest of downtown Oklahoma City.
The Piedmont Fire Department operates out of 2 Fire Department Stations. The Piedmont Fire Department is a combination fire department with 11 paid firefighters and 4 volunteer firefighters. The City of Piedmont has an ISO rating of 4.
Services
The Piedmont Fire Department provides a multitude of services to include fire suppression, emergency medical services, vehicle extrication, and hazardous materials identification and stabilization. We pride ourselves on our public education and fire prevention programs. We work closely with our local schools, churches, and businesses to provide fire safety and first aid courses to anyone in need. All firefighters on staff are certified CPR instructors along with having multiple certified EMS instructors.
